Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Chief Executive Officer. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with high business acumen, tech-savvy, and capable of making informed judgments.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy: Provide overall leadership and direction, develop and implement strategic plans, and drive accomplishments through alliances, mergers, and acquisitions. Address mission-critical issues impacting operations.
- Succession Planning: Develop and oversee the implementation of the company's succession plans for critical roles.
- Financial Oversight: Manage profit and loss across strategic business units, assessing their overall value as reflected in the corporate balance sheet.
- External Representation: Represent the company to external stakeholders and participate in key operational decisions.
- Internal Focus: Ensure optimal working conditions for internal stakeholders while securing the company's long-term future.
- Asset Management: Analyse the asset needs of the business to guide investment decisions aligned with long-term strategic goals.
- Fundraising and Planning: Engage in strategic planning and fundraising activities to support company growth.
Qualifications
- A master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
- Extensive experience beyond domain expertise, with a proven track record and diverse leadership experience.
- High-level strategic formulation and implementation skills.
- Experience in addressing complex issues impacting organizational operations.
Compensation
- Annual Pay Package: AUD $750K, plus long-term incentives.
- Equity and Bonus: Share equity allocations and an annual bonus of AUD $2 million.
- Profit Share: 1% of global annual net profits.
- Financial Commitment: The appointed CEO must have the financial capability to purchase company shares annually to the value of AUD $50K, fostering a true bond with our company.
