Waste Management Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to join our dynamic team. Our team plays a crucial role in supporting the collection, treatment, processing and recycling of liquid and hazardous waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately complete all records and paperwork as directed by regulatory bodies.
- Maintain safe work practices and adhere to policies and procedures including Absolutes and Lifesaving rules.
- Supervise and train Process Operators at various levels.
- Prepare and document waste products for removal from site.
- Load and unload packaged waste vehicles efficiently.
- Decant, clean, repackage, store and dispose of packaged waste safely.
- Sample and treat packaged waste as directed.
- Conduct daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior Team Leader or Supervisor experience is essential.
- A current Forklift license with at least 12 months of experience is required.
- Excavator and Loader tickets are highly advantageous.
- A valid Class C driver's license is necessary.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is crucial.
- A Zero Harm Safety mindset is mandatory.
- A good attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential qualities.
