We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Security Specialist to join our team as a Regional Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our latest cloud security technologies within an assigned geographic region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales plans for your assigned territory.
- Manage the entire sales cycle for key deals, from initial contact to closure.
- Foster growth and track the CloudGuard sales pipeline by engaging with internal account teams, existing customers, net new prospects, and key partners.
- Maintain an accurate forecast of business opportunities and bookings in your assigned geography.
- Understand and navigate customer procurement preferences, embracing online marketplaces (AWS, Azure, Distis) and chaperoning customers to long-term commitments.
- Prepare and deliver regular business reviews to the management team, highlighting attainment progress and challenges to closing business.
- Present compelling business cases at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from network architects to CXOs, and have a good understanding of the overall ecosystem and competitive landscape in your assigned territory.
- Increase awareness of Check Point's solutions in the market place through regional cadence with partner teams (AWS, Azure, Google etc), local and national resellers, distributors, existing and net new accounts, and technology consultants.
- Collaborate with the Channel organization to enable our Partners to successfully sell and deploy Check Point Cloud solutions.
- Develop relationships with new Born-in-the-Cloud partners critical to CloudGuard growth and support relationship expansion with top existing partners for Public Cloud.
- Ensure an active presence at relevant industry Trade Shows and Check Point organized events.
- Deliver regular Webinars and Event keynote business and technical presentations.
- Grow to be a thought leader, trusted advisor, and spokesperson for CloudGuard.
- Develop and leverage executive relationships to succeed.
We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven individual with a proven track record in consultative selling. The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, Open Stack, and other cloud and security technologies from a technology and business driver standpoint.
- Overall experience of 10-12 years and at least 3 years of cloud technologies sales experience.
- A 'whatever it takes' attitude to assist in closing deals and deliver above-quota results.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop/execute corresponding objectives.
- Strong verbal and written communications, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Experience getting into and successfully interfacing with 'C' levels.
