Logistics Coordinator Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to lead and inspire our team in driving efficient and secure logistical operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise teams to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Conduct regular safety toolboxes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Strategically plan and schedule storage and removal activities within the depot to optimize resource allocation and procurement.
  • Manage storage locations and data to unlock maximum efficiency and space utilization.
  • Oversee the meticulous planning and scheduling of warehousing employees and equipment to ensure seamless operations.
  • Uphold stringent quality and safety standards during the loading and unloading of consignments.
  • Create and maintain a secure and compliant warehouse environment, safeguarding equipment, staff, and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Experience in transport and logistics underpinned by a robust background in container handling.
  • Demonstrated ability to spearhead successful initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
  • Exemplary leadership skills validated by a track record of effectively leading and supervising teams.
  • Adept at conflict resolution and possessing outstanding communication abilities.
  • Unwavering commitment to safety accompanied by a proactive stance towards continuous improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite and computer literacy.
