
Delivery Excellence Specialist

We're seeking a Transport Team Leader to lead our delivery team in achieving excellence in customer service and DIFOT targets. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- This role involves leading by example to ensure a safe, compliant and customer-focused transport team.
- You will plan and coordinate daily and next-day deliveries to achieve the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction.
- Overseeing vehicle loading accuracy, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility compliance are also key responsibilities of this role.
- Liaising with contractors and reporting operational issues to the Transport Manager will be an essential part of this job.
- Supporting scheduling, workforce planning and delivery operations will require your ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles, docks and yard areas are kept safe, clean and compliant at all times.
- Providing coaching, feedback and support to your team to lift performance and contribute to cost efficiency improvements are key objectives of this role.
- This is a permanent full-time position with early starts from 4:00am Monday to Friday.
- Overtime is available as required.
- You will need at least 3 years' experience in transport or logistics.
- A minimum of 1–2 years in a leadership or team leader role would be highly desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and WHS requirements is essential for this role.
- A safety-first mindset with strong manual handling awareness is also required.
- You will need to be customer-focused, solutions-oriented and highly organised with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve excellent results is crucial for this role.
