Join our APAC Sales Team as a Solutions Consultant to support the growth and strategy for ETRM solutions. Understanding electricity, gas, and carbon markets is beneficial. Financial modelling skills and Excel proficiency are essential. This role offers exposure to markets in the APAC region, with opportunities to develop a broad understanding or become a specialist in one market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop compelling technical proposals by matching client needs with ETRM solution features and strengths.
  • Collaborate with product teams and functional experts to create large and complex solution architectures demonstrating how various products can offer a differentiated solution.
  • Assist opportunity vetting and scoping through originating customer discovery calls and capturing learnings into close plans.
  • Support bid/no bid analyses and decisions, participate in project risk review processes.
  • Independently run ETRM product demonstrations and workshops to convince prospective clients of the value proposition.
  • Support sales organisations during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
  • Participate as a functional consultant in projects, working with business and technical analysts to come up with effective solutions meeting customer requirements.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as finance, international trade, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy industry in a commercial function.
  • Strategic business acumen, resilience, excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate the value proposition of ETRM solutions and propose solutions based on prospective clients' credit, operation, business, and risk requirements.
  • Strong grasp of commodity trading in the Asia-Pacific region, including Power, Natural Gas, Renewables, and LNG.
  • Familiarity with trade life cycle and associated risk management processes and controls at target companies.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and database configuration.
  • Excellent English language skills, with knowledge of another Asian language advantageous.
