Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing a team to evaluate, develop, monitor, and deliver cyber defence and resilience services across the transport cluster.

The team is responsible for planning and delivering cyber defence and resilience services such as security operations, continuous monitoring, incident response, and resolution.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in IT operations and security mindset.
  • Leadership and management capabilities, including the ability to motivate technical staff.
  • Stakeholder management expertise and leadership skills to drive performance in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading a team to plan and deliver cyber defence and resilience services.
  2. Consulting internal and external expertise to improve these services and reduce cyber and technology risk.
  3. Managing relationships with internal and external partners to support organizational objectives.
  4. Establishing tools and processes to promote effective practices among cyber and risk teams.
  5. Regularly reviewing the effectiveness of these services and establishing improvements.
  6. Mentoring and coaching team members to guide their development within the organization.
