Care Service Employee

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Service Employee to join our team at The Salvation Army Aged Care. As a valued member of our care staff, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional resident care and making a real difference in the lives of our residents.
In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote dignity, respect, and independence.
As a Care Service Employee, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our residents and their families, providing them with peace of mind and reassurance. Your compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills will be essential in creating a homely and loving environment that promotes resident well-being.
Our ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, current First Aid Certification, and experience assisting with medication. You will also have an understanding of WHS and infection control principles, as well as computer literacy and experience with documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per annum, plus superannuation and allowances.
