Your Future Role:

We're seeking an International Mobility Coordinator to join our HR team on a 12-month fixed contract. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing individual employee mobility to the Australia and New Zealand region, working closely with home and host HR communities, and providing expert guidance on international mobility topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing individual files from initial identification to arrival in country
  • Providing data and cost estimations to managers and HR before expatriation
  • Organising briefing calls with employees, managers, and HR for international permanent transfers and short/long-term mission transfers
  • Presenting packages and contracts to international permanent transfer and short mission employees, including hypothetical tax considerations
  • Registering expatriates for local plans and coordinating relocation, immigration, and tax processes with external vendors in coordination with host HR
  • Preparing tri-party agreements for international permanent transfers
  • Providing guidance to managers and HR on international mobility topics, including reviewing external suppliers with the Sourcing team to ensure value for money
  • Working with Payroll and Finance to ensure timely information for tax compliance
  • Monitoring visa expiry dates, systems, and records
  • Developing an expat guide to provide valuable information for new arrivals in-country
  • Staying up-to-date on local market conditions and suggesting improvements to international mobility practices

About You:

  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist is desired
  • Proven expatriate management experience within a multinational organisation
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Sound influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including tact and diplomacy
  • People-oriented and able to navigate cultural differences
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of various teams
  • Highly dedicated, self-motivated, and a team player who takes initiative
  • Able to attend calls across different time zones
