About the role: 

Ogilvy Melbourne is on the hunt for a Freelance Group Account Director to join the team from October to December. This role will be dedicated to a large FMCG portfolio, working across multi-channel campaigns. 

The Group Account Director (GAD) role is a crucial day-to-day client management role within the team. This position involves directing and leading the client's business, developing and executing plans in collaboration with consulting, creative, and operational partners across all relevant channels.

What you'll do: 

  • Nurturing and growing key senior client relationships by being a trusted advisor to senior client management 

  • Managing integrated agency teams, inspiring and motivating action across departments and capabilities; fostering teamwork

  • Leading client thinking on strategy development and providing targeted, actionable insights

  • Understanding the agency business model and identifying and utilising all Agency capabilities to produce exceptional results for the client

  • Partnering with project management to ensure appropriate resources are available to deliver and drive client growth, as well as maximise performance and productivity
