RSM Gosford are looking for a Senior Manager to join our dynamic firm, someone who's not only technically strong, but passionate about mentoring talent and delivering practical, value-driven advice to clients.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing complex client engagements, reviewing financial reports and tax returns, and providing commercial insights that help businesses succeed. You'll oversee a talented team of accountants, ensuring high-quality work and nurturing their professional growth. You'll also play a key role in business development, building relationships with clients and industry professionals, and identifying opportunities to expand our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage team workflows, ensuring high-quality, timely client deliverables.

• Review financial statements and work papers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Apply industry knowledge to provide strategic, forward-thinking advice to clients.

• Identify risks and opportunities, delivering practical, value-adding solutions.

• Build strong client relationships through regular communication and commercial insight.

• Mentor and develop junior staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.

• Design and analyse financial models to support client decision-making.

• Resolve complex accounting issues and provide clear management reporting advice.

About you:

We're seeking someone who is proactive and solutions-focused. You'll bring a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen, with a genuine interest in helping businesses thrive and developing the people around you.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting

• CA qualification (or equivalent)

• 8+ years' experience in professional services, including 3–4 years managing a team

• Proven ability to lead client relationships and deliver advisory services
