The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and streetwear savvy 2IC Assistant Manager to join the Culture Kings team at our Pacific Fair location. This is the pinnacle retail role, where you will be at the forefront of street fashion, not just following fashion trends but setting them.

Our store trades 7 days a week so you must be available to work weekends & late nights on a rotating roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in providing strong leadership and guidance to store staff, including  and other team members. 

  • Foster a positive and motivated work environment, encouraging teamwork, and promoting a customer-centric culture.

  • Prioritise exceptional customer service and lead by example and train staff to deliver an outstanding customer experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Support the Store Manager in overseeing inventory, including stock levels, restocking and visual merchandising. 

  • Collaborate in facilitating training sessions for new hires and ongoing development programs for store staff.

  • Work with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a fashion retail management or leadership role

  • Exceptional selling skills with a strong understanding of customer service, we don't just sell, we create long-lasting experiences

  • Ability to meet & drive Sales & KPI's

  • Operationally excellent and experienced with stock control and visual merchandising

  • A natural ability to influence, coach and develop the team at an individual level

  • An adaptable attitude to an ever-changing and growing retail environment
