Position: Retail Manager
Salary: $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Location: YARRAVILLE 3013
Hours: 38
Mode: Full-time
Experience required: Minimum 1 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversee the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Determine appropriate product mix, stock levels, and service standards to meet customer expectations
• Formulate and implement purchasing policies, set competitive pricing, and manage marketing initiatives
• Promote and advertise the store’s goods and services to increase brand awareness and foot traffic
• Sell goods directly to customers, provide detailed product advice, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and financial transactions
• Prepare and manage store budgets, monitor costs, and optimise profitability
• Lead recruitment, selection, training, and supervision of retail staff to build a capable and motivated team
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and internal policies
• Develop and manage staff rosters and schedules to ensure efficient coverage
• Liaise with suppliers, manage stock replenishment, and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualification in Retail Management, Business, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Skills & Experience Required:
• Minimum 1 year experience in a retail management role
• Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
• Strong skills in inventory management, merchandising, and customer service
• Excellent budgeting and financial reporting skills
• Knowledge of retail sales strategies, product promotion, and marketing
• Familiarity with OHS regulations and store compliance requirements
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multicultural retail environment
