Are you passionate about seeing young people become and then grow as disciples of Jesus?

Taree Baptist Church is seeking a passionate follower-of-Jesus – male or female – to join our team as a Youth Ministry Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow a dynamic youth ministry that reaches both church and community youth with the life-changing message of Jesus.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Loves Jesus and is passionate about youth discipleship.

- Can lead and grow our Friday night youth program.

- Will mentor and equip youth leaders.

- Is excited to set vision and respond to the spiritual needs of teenagers.

- Will pastorally care for youth and integrate them into the life of the Church.

- Help lead our youth Camp Emersus (November) and attend KYCK Convention (April).

What you’ll bring

- A humble heart for ministry and learning.

- Leadership and communication skills.

- Experience in youth ministry (essential).

- Studying or completed theological training.

- Willingness to meet Safe Spaces requirements (WWCC, training, etc.)

You may be able to pair this role with other Christian ministry in Town, such as public school chaplaincy, High School SRE teaching or work at MidCoast Christian College.

Position Details

- Part time (2.5 days/week including Sunday mornings)

- Remuneration in line with NSW/ACT Baptist Association guidelines
