About the Role
Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is seeking an experienced Field Service Forklift Technician to cover Adelaide and surrounding suburbs.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections of new and used units, as well as a range of maintenance services including planned maintenance, repairs, and modifications to a wide range of Toyota Forklifts and other industrial equipment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units, including preventative service and breakdown repairs, in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets, and other administrative documentation.
- Assist the Field Service team at customer sites when required.
Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:
- Current Manual Driver's Licence.
- Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
- Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate would be advantageous.
- Previous experience within the forklift industry or a similar field.
Can Demonstrate:
- Good diagnostic and repair skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
- Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in training programs to increase product knowledge, procedures, safe work practices, and licensing requirements.
