Job Description
- Conduct in-depth legal and market research to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyse complex data and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with legal regulations and standards.
- Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to inform decision-making processes.
- Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations to maintain competitive advantage.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Act as a subject matter expert within the legal department on strategic research matters.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Strategic Research Lead should have:
- A strong background in legal or business research, preferably within business services.
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in working with legal frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in research tools and software.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong research and analytical capability ideally with exposure to professional services (consulting, big four, financial services)
- Ability to turn complex information into clear, senior‑level insights
- Strong stakeholder management focus. The role leans towards strategic insight delivery rather than pure data analysis
