We are seeking aReliability Engineer for Semiconductor Devicesto join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of semiconductor and electro-optic devices, including photonic integrated circuits, to meet Telcordia GR-468 and JEDEC standards. The role involves building operating life prediction models and understanding customer needs and requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute reliability and qualification test plans for optical devices, with a focus on photonic integrated circuits.
- Ensure all test plans comply with industry standards, including Telcordia GR-468 and JEDEC
- Perform accelerated life testing, build and validate operating life prediction models for optical and electro-optic devices.
- Investigate product failures and work closely with cross-functional teams to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze test data to identify failure mechanisms and improve device reliability.
- Understand and translate customer needs and requirements into reliability engineering solutions.
- Timely Prepare and present reliability reports and documentation to stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the reliability performance of products in the field.
- Maintain and calibrate reliability test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing results.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of lab procedures and protocols.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in reliability engineering for semiconductor and/or optical devices.
- Strong knowledge of Telcordia GR-468 and JEDEC standards.
- Experience in building and validating operating life prediction models.
- Proficiency in reliability test methodologies and failure analysis techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to understand and meet customer needs and requirements.
- Experience with design or testing of photonic integrated circuits is preferred.
- Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis and reliability software tools, as well as knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in reliability engineering are a big plus.
