About the Opportunity

This position is for you We are looking for dedicated, collaborative team members to join our comprehensive program of work called Fusion that aims to standardise, streamline and integrate pathology services.
The Administrative Officer - Project Support will develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures to support the smooth functioning of the Fusion program and assist in the delivery of Fusion projects through providing admin and secretariat support.

What you'll be doing
This position works across the Clinical Operations team by supporting and coordinating a diverse range of projects and undertaking organisational and administrative tasks that contribute to the achievement of strategic and operational objectives. The Project Support Officer is responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of functions to meet project timelines including administrative support functions, secretariat support to committees, and providing business support activities including financial, procurement and recruitment services.

- Demonstrated experience in providing executive administrative support, including the capacity to operate effectively with minimal supervision, exercise independent judgement, discretion and initiative and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to effectively develop and implement administrative systems and processes to support the smooth functioning of a team including demonstrated knowledge of invoicing, procurement and contract management requirements.
- High level written and verbal communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and ability to respond, adapt and cope with changing priorities.
- Highly developed skills in using PC based software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook), SharePoint and network operations and electronic systems to complete work activities.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of project management documentation, reports and briefings.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision high level secretariat support to project meetings and committees, including preparation and appropriate distribution of documents such as agendas, minutes and supporting documents.
The preferred candidate may be required to undergo a functional assessment prior to appointment.
