Rokt’s AI Brain and ecommerce Network powers billions of transactions connecting hundreds of millions of customers, and is trusted by the world’s leading companies.
We are a team of builders helping smart businesses find innovative ways to meet customer needs and generate incremental revenue. Leading companies drive 10–50% of additional revenue—and often all their profits—from the extra products or services they sell. This economic edge unleashes a world of possibilities for growth and innovation.
At Rokt, we believe in transparency, which is why we have a well-defined career ladder with clear compensation and growth pathways. Rokt’stars continually raise the bar, supporting one another and pushing the envelope of what is possible.
We are looking for a Data Scientist. Target total compensation ranges from $158,000 - $171,000, comprised of fixed-annual remuneration ($140,000 - $153,000 including superannuation) + employee equity plan grant. Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.
About the Role
This role sits in Rokt’s Network Integrity team, a group dedicated to defending the foundation of consumer relevance at Rokt. Our mission is to ensure that every customer interaction on the Rokt platform is authentic, protecting the “Rokt Brain” and Rokt Network, helping to maintain trust with clients and partners, and safeguarding the data that powers our machine learning models.
Working in Network Integrity at Rokt means operating at global scale. Rokt’s platform processes tens of millions of transactions every day, each packed with dozens to hundreds of data points. Our machine learning models draw on billions of data points in real time, optimizing experiences for hundreds of millions of unique users. Data comes from direct client integrations, Rokt’s own derived signals, and trusted third-party sources, all securely managed across multiple AWS regions worldwide.
As part of Network Integrity, you’ll help design and deliver the layered defenses that keep Rokt’s data ecosystem clean, resilient, and trustworthy. You will leverage advanced analytics and data science techniques to protect the quality and trustworthiness of the data signals powering Rokt’s products, analyze large-scale traffic patterns, develop and maintain robust metrics, and drive data-driven decisions to strengthen our defenses against fraud and invalid traffic (IVT).

- Develop and apply statistical, machine learning, or anomaly detection models to support integrity initiatives.
- Measure the effectiveness of fraud and IVT detection systems, providing actionable insights to improve accuracy and coverage.
- Partner cross-functionally to inform system design and threat-mitigation strategies with data-driven evidence.
- Prepare and present clear, data-backed reports to communicate the business value of integrity initiatives.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a learning, collaborative team culture.

- 2+ years’ experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field.

- Nice to have: Experience working with large-scale datasets (millions of rows) in distributed data environments.
- A strong communicator, able to translate complex findings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, conscientious, and motivated to raise the bar for data quality and business impact.
- Collaborative, curious, and eager to take ownership of projects and outcomes.
