Benson Radiology is one of Australia’s largest and most successful doctor-owned radiology practices. With more than 65 years’ experience, our enduring success is the result of a consistent focus on high-quality patient care and a supportive, dynamic culture.
Offering services at 30 locations across metropolitan Adelaide, the Barossa Valley, and the Limestone Coast, with exciting plans for further expansion. The practice includes radiology services at several private and public hospitals.
As a fully comprehensive practice, they offer all imaging modalities including MRI, CT, PET, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, and general x-ray. They pride themselves on their medical imaging equipment including leading edge 3T and 1.5T wide bore MRIs, a complete fleet of low dose CT scanners, leading-edge PET equipment, and SA’s largest fleet of breast tomosynthesis. They also have advanced IT systems with high-level in-house support for RIS, PACS, and various other software platforms. Their collegiate atmosphere and breadth of experience accommodate radiologists of various levels and with a variety of special interests.
The Role
We are seeking expressions of interest from radiologists interested in working at Benson Radiology in Edwardstown, Naracoorte Hospital, Hampsted Gardens, Windsor Gardens, Keith, Bordertown and Millicent in South Australia.
The ideal doctor can work independently and interpret routine and specialist diagnostic tests expediently and professionally. Candidates should be able to collaborate with referring physicians, agencies effectively, and other professionals to provide optimum care for each patient.
The remuneration on offer is attractive and annual leave entitlements are generous. We would be pleased to assist with relocation expenses.
Under the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2021, the salary range for Consultant medical practitioners is $227,591 - $299,884. The SAH SMO EA 21 will be a baseline for remuneration negotiations for this position.

You will need
- Current eligibility to work in Australia as a radiologist;
- Registration with AHPRA;
- Fellowship of the RANZCR or equivalent
- Criminal history check and relevant checks within South Australia for working with children.
