We are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Leader – Service Manager to join our team in Concord, NSW. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality services, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, and supporting participants on their journey toward independence.
Position Summary
Service Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating the delivery of NDIS services within the Concord region. This includes managing staff performance, maintaining service quality, fostering relationships with participants and stakeholders, and ensuring participant satisfaction. The role requires excellent leadership skills, strong operational capability, and a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and supervision to Support Coordinators and Support Workers.
- Manage day-to-day operations of services including rostering, resource allocation, and staff deployment.
- Ensure participant care plans are implemented and regularly reviewed to align with NDIS goals and individual needs.
- Support the onboarding, training, and professional development of staff.
- Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of participant and staff activities in line with NDIS and company policies.
- Liaise with participants, families, and external stakeholders to uphold a high standard of service delivery.
- Respond promptly to participant or family concerns, resolving complaints efficiently.
- Oversee compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards.
- Manage budgets, resources, and reporting for assigned services.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new programs or service improvements.
Essential Criteria
- In-depth knowledge of the NDIS and disability sector, including compliance and quality frameworks.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within disability services or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- High-level organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Flexibility to work outside standard office hours and respond to after-hours situations when required.
Desirable
-Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or a related field.
-Experience managing Supported Independent Living (SIL) programs or similar services.
-Background in staff mentoring and training.
