Senior Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for hands‑on work? Our client is a design, engineering, product developer and systems integrator that delivers full systems lifecycle solutions to Defence, Emergency Services and Special Projects customers. They are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering professional to join their team. Our client specializes in automotive design and integration and is looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a strong background in electrical systems design and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding and repair of complex electrical systems.
- Work closely with the design team to produce accurate electrical engineering designs.
- Create/modify 2D CAD drawings, 3D parametric solid math & surface models.
- Analysis of electrical systems, parts or components.
- Conduct test and evaluation activities alongside Design Authority.
- Review and utilise customer‑specified standards and relevant regulations to prepare system requirements.
- Support Project Management activities.
- Support reliability analysis including FMECA’s, RCA and FRACAS.
- Contribute to system design safety and maintainability analysis.
Experience Required
- 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in fault finding, maintaining and repairing electrical systems.
- Degree qualification across Electrical, Electronics, Hardware, Mechatronics or Avionics Engineering or similar qualifications/experience.
- Hands‑on electrical design experience as well as an aptitude to analyse electrical systems.
- Defence industry experience is desirable.
