The Opportunity

Our Corporate Finance division in Adelaide is seeking an “Analyst – M&A Advisory” to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for a motivated individual with a background in Corporate Finance, Business Advisory, Audit, or Insolvency (approximately 1-2 years).

Our team brings extensive experience across a wide range of industries, working with businesses of all sizes. As a key team member, you will assist with financial modelling, live business transactions, financial due diligence, and strategic business advice.

In this role, you will work closely with partners/principals, supporting the growth of the Corporate Finance division while delivering outstanding results for our clients.

Responsibilities

- Analyse and interpret large datasets
- Developing robust financial models, budgets, and forecasts for clients
- Assisting the partners/principals with business sales and acquisitions including financial due diligence and preparation of Information Memorandums
- Preparing business valuations
- Supporting strategic business investigations and analysis
- Preparation of covenant reporting to commercial banks
- Providing insightful, strategic advice that shapes the future of our clients’ businesses

Qualifications

About You

- Bachelor/'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline.
- Approximately 1-2 years in an accounting-related role (experience in Corporate Finance, Business Advisory, Audit, or Insolvency is ideal).
- Currently studying for CA qualifications.
- Strong Excel skills, with experience in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R being highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret Financial Statements.
- High levels of professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
- Strong collaborative skills with colleagues and clients, along with a dedicated work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with report-writing experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to develop solutions.
- Passionate about helping clients achieve their goals.
