Business Development Manager - Sustainment Operations Boeing Defence Australia Brisbane QLD Other (Engineering) Full time

The opportunity

We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager - Sustainment Operations to support business growth opportunities within our extensive Sustainment Operations portfolio, including support and sustainment of some of Defence's most important aircraft. The successful candidate will work within our Business Development and Strategy team and will support the Sustainment Operations business leaders.

The role is based in Brisbane and will require some domestic travel.

Responsibilities

- Engage stakeholder across Defence and within Boeing to align Boeing's value offer with Defence's need.
- Lead new business campaigns involving maintenance, repair, overhaul and upgrade to Australian Defence Force aircraft, including Boeing's portfolio of P-8A Poseidon, C-17A Globemaster, F/A-18F Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, CH-47F Chinook and the AH-64E Apache.
- Lead new business campaigns to enhance and grow Boeing's training solutions.
- Provide information and decision briefs to senior business leaders.

Experience/Qualifications

- Familiarity with the Australian Defence Organisation and Defence capability development would be highly regarded.
- Highly developed communications skills and the ability to influence stakeholders is required.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements. A current Defence security clearance would be highly regarded.
