Casual Debating Coaches

Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking experienced Debating Coaches to join our co‑curricular team on a casual basis in 2026. Our Debating Coaches work at a variety of levels, providing instruction in the development of a range of debating speaking skills to individuals, small groups, or large groups of students ranging in ages. This includes assisting in the planning and coaching of individual and group debating sessions, and the preparation of students for competitions. Interested candidates must be available during Monday afternoon training sessions, 3.30pm‑5pm, and competitions on Tuesday and Friday afternoon/evenings in season.

At Ravenswood, we wish to excite students’ interest in pursuing their studies both in the classroom and through co‑curricular experiences. The successful applicants will be excellent and engaging Debating Coaches who have demonstrated experience teaching students in the Junior and Senior School.
