We are seeking Independent Contractors for the positions of Piano, Voice, Oboe, Drums/Percussion Tutor, commencing in 2026. Our Music Tutors may teach girls across the School Campus from Junior to Senior School in a variety of styles. We are seeking tutors who are able to foster excitement from beginner players to those who need guidance, focus and rigour in the Senior School. As part of this role, the Oboe and Drums/Percussion tutors will be working with the Year 4 Band team teaching tutorial style lessons. Tutors help to foster a love of playing their instrument and work in liaison with the Music Department to support current events. Lessons are arranged on a rotation basis and take place on school premises.
Qualifications
- A passionate and engaging manner
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in teaching both Junior and Senior School students
- Ability to enter and prepare students for exams
- Ability to teach across a range of musical styles is desirable

- Have a current ABN
- Maintain valid and enforceable insurances, and provide evidence that the following insurances are maintained:
- Professional indemnity insurance of not less than $10 million
- Public liability insurance of not less than $10 million
