Senior Analyst - Restructuring & Recovery

Join our team at RSM Australia's Restructuring and Recovery practice as a Senior Analyst, where you will assist with planning and control of small to medium insolvency engagements. You will perform more technical tasks on larger engagements, gaining exposure to various insolvency, restructuring, and turnaround matters while developing your skills through extensive learning and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review receipt authority, payment authority, day one investigation letters, and statutory forms.
  • Conduct investigations into company or individual affairs.
  • Prepare ASIC reports.
  • Assist with interviews of directors or bankrupts.
  • Review work of junior staff members.
  • Identify, research, and resolve complex issues.
  • Prepare letters of demand.
  • Assist in trading business operations, including budget and forecast preparation.
  • Liaise with lawyers, agents, and auctioneers.
  • Prepare reports for creditors, including financial analysis.
  • Draft correspondence and act as main point of contact regarding engagement communication.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce with Accounting major.
  • Law degree with interest in Insolvency.
  • Completion or near completion of CA or equivalent qualification.
  • Commencement of ARITA's Insolvency Education Program.
Experience and Attributes:
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
