We are currently seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant/Analyst to join our dynamic Business Recovery & Insolvency Team in Sydney. To succeed, you'll need excellent communication and time management skills, be well-presented, and self-motivated.

Our team works with individuals from diverse backgrounds and industries. This position requires a quick learner with a keen eye for detail. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be familiar with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

In insolvency, we handle cases involving people experiencing highly emotional times. Resilience and empathy are essential traits. Working with businesses and individuals in financial distress is challenging, but it offers the opportunity to help clients explore their options and move forward.

In return, we offer on-the-job training, mentorship from senior staff and partners, and access to PKF industry leaders to facilitate your learning. Our specialists have extensive experience managing corporate and personal insolvencies, restructuring businesses, and restoring their stability. We will teach you how to become an expert in this field.

To excel in the interview, you should:

  • Present yourself confidently, professionally, and amiably
  • Have 1 to 3 years' experience in insolvency, restructuring, or bankruptcy
  • Be motivated to pursue CA and ARITA qualifications
  • Be capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines
  • Pay attention to detail and demonstrate resourceful problem-solving skills
  • Work effectively within a team, collaborating across all levels from graduate to partner
