Role: Contract Dietitian

Location: myLife Medical Brookwater – General Practice

Engagement: Contractor – Flexible sessions/days available

About the Opportunity

myLife Medical Brookwater is offering a consulting room to an experienced Dietitian seeking to operate independently while integrating within a holistic, patient-centred general practice. With flexible sessions available across the week, this opportunity supports both new and existing clients and enhances the clinic’s commitment to comprehensive chronic disease management.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide evidence-based nutritional assessment, counselling, and dietary management plans

- Support patients referred by GPs, as well as your established caseload

- Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and allied health providers to deliver coordinated care

- Contribute to chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives, including diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular risk reduction, and gut health

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements

- Participate in interprofessional communication and case discussions to enhance patient outcomes

About You

- Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with Dietitians Australia

- Professional indemnity insurance and ABN required

- Experience working in general practice or with chronic disease management preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- A collaborative approach and willingness to engage in team-based, patient-centered care
