Assistant Academic Head of Science (Coordinator 2)

Due to an internal promotion, we invite applications for the position of Assistant Academic Head of Science. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and a culture of academic and pastoral excellence. Key Responsibilities and Requirements

- Proven ability to lead learning and effectively administer a faculty

- Highly skilled classroom practitioner with experience teaching Science across Stages 4–6

- The ability to teach either Physics and/or Chemistry is highly advantageous

- Capacity to create safe, supportive learning environments and promote student wellbeing

- Ability to adapt the College’s Learning Framework and collaborate within a dynamic professional learning community

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to build positive relationships with staff, students, parents/carers, and the wider community

- Commitment to aligning professional learning with student needs and fostering a climate of excellenceSound pedagogical practices and ability to inspire students

- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and College life
