About the position

Council’s Waste Circularity Department is looking for a Community Education Officer - Kerbside Reform who will be responsible to lead community education on Frankston's new four-bin waste service, supporting residents to recycle right and reduce waste.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Investigating issues that arise from the kerbside waste collection services (new four bin service)
- Engage and consult with the community and provide education to residents and the community on the new kerbside waste reform
- To support residents to be able to embrace the new four bin system with confidence and knowledge

This is a temporary full-time position ending on March 2027.

About you

- Knowledge and understanding of the concepts and objectives of State Governments Kerbside Waste Reform
- Understanding or some relevant experience in behaviour change programs, principles or initiatives
- High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Suite of products and customer service request systems (e.g. Pathways) and
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current working with Children's Check

This position is aBand 5currently remunerated at$82,567.33per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
