About the Role

As the Head of Category – Chilled Food and Bakery, you'll take full ownership of driving category growth and innovation across the portfolio. You'll challenge the status quo, develop strategic plans grounded in consumer insight and market data, forge strong, future fit partnerships with our supply base and collaborate across the enterprise to deliver exceptional results.

This is a leadership position for someone ready to disrupt, elevate, and transform our Chilled and Bakery categories in pursuit of our food ambition.

What You'll Do

- Lead the development and execution of the category strategy aligned with customer needs and commercial goals.

- Identify and implement transformative initiatives that deliver growth, increase customer loyalty, and drives profitability

- Use analytics and shopper insight to shape the future of our offering across the Chilled and Bakery categories

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovation to shelf faster and more effectively.

- Build strong, strategic relationships with our supplier base to drive joint business planning, unlock innovation, and improve agility

- Champion quality, freshness, and food credentials while delivering on key commercial metrics

What you need

- Proven experience in category management or buying within the fresh food sector (retail or supplier-side).

- Track record of driving transformation, innovation, and strong commercial results.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

- Analytical mindset with a creative edge – you love data but think beyond it.

- Passion for fresh food and the evolving needs of today's customer.
