You’ll have the opportunity to grow, learn and contribute to projects that shape the region. - Opportunities for professional development and training. - Work with a supportive & friendly, down-to-earth team - Flexibility with meaningful impact What you'll be doing No two days are the same You'll be: - Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the Office of the CEO, Mayor and Councillors. - Coordinate meetings, workshops, travel arrangements, and diary management. - Assist with governance and compliance administration. - Support Council meetings through agenda compilation, documentation, and logistical coordination. - Maintain and manage documentation using Council's records management systems. - Assist in grant application preparation, audit tracking, and risk management administration. - Provide cross-functional team support and help coordinate special projects or events. What we're looking for - A qualification in business/office administration or equivalent experience. - At least 2-3 years’ administrative experience, preferably in government or compliance-focused roles. - Excellent organisational and time management skills. - Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail. - A professional, customer‑focused approach and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ideally, experience with document/content management systems. - A flexible, collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement. - A cover letter outlining why you are interested in this role; and - A detailed and up‑to‑date resume/CV.
