About the role
The City Rangers team is looking for a proactive and organised Business Support Officer to join our high-performing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting others, working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to the smooth running of a busy department. The role focuses heavily on written communication, coordination and administration, and will suit someone with strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
In this role you'll:
coordinate and respond to correspondence, including drafting and maintaining a library of standard responsessupport the team with meeting coordination, minute taking and records managementassist in preparing reports and responses, including for official letters and legislative mattersliaise with stakeholders across the organisation and external partnershelp organise department events and support continuous improvement projects.
We're looking for someone with:
industry experience (preferably 2 years or more) strong written and verbal communication skillsgreat attention to detail and time managementexperience in coordinating meetings and documenting outcomesa collaborative, proactive approach and good judgmentdemonstrated experience working within a legislative or regulatory frameworksexperience with document management systems.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
