ABOUT THE role

Adara Partners is seeking a highly motivated and experienced full-time Associate Director to join our corporate advisory team. The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in a team delivering financial and strategic advice to Australia’s largest public companies and private organisations. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in corporate finance, M&A, and capital markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with members of the Adara Partners Panel who actively lead the delivery of our client engagements across M&A, capital management and complex strategic advisory. You will play a key role in managing transactions, mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development initiatives.

about you

To excel in this position, you will need:

- 6 – 10 years of experience in investment banking, corporate advisory, strategy consulting, or a related field.
- Sound knowledge and ability to manage end-to-end deal execution on M&A transactions and takeover defence.
- Proven track record of managing complex transactions and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Highly proficient with excel and valuation work, with the ability to build and conduct scenario analysis and stress test financial information.
- Sector expertise is welcomed however as Adara is industry agnostic, the ability to work fluidly across a variety of sectors is key.
- A strong commitment to social justice and international development.

LOCATION

Our offices are located in The Rocks, Sydney and are shared with our international development colleagues who provide direct insight into the critical work of Adara Development.

Our office is a hybrid working environment. The successful candidate will be expected to work from our physical office 2-3 days a week.
