At Mungari, now with a mine life through to 2038, our people have a longer future with opportunities to grow. Located in the Western Australia Goldfields, you can choose what suits your priorities. Work an attractive fly-in/fly out (FIFO) roster from Perth or live local and enjoy our close-knit communities and local lifestyles in Kalgoorlie.

This roster is 7:7 and a 12 hour day. Residential Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth.

About the role

Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you’ll be a key part of a tight-knit crew that gets the job done right. We’re looking for a hands-on legend who knows their way around a drill rig and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

- Smashing out accurate Longhole drilling to design spec using mechanised gear.
- Reading and following mine plans like a pro—drilling to line, gradient, and profile with precision.
- Setting up and sorting out any issues on Longhole Drill rigs—no dramas.
- Doing thorough pre-starts and making sure all gear is good to go and safe.
- Catching up with the Shift Boss and the previous crew to get the lowdown on the work area.

About you

- At least 3 years underground experience, with 12+ months on SANDVIK Production Longhole Drills.
- Someone who takes pride in doing a solid job, every time.
- A team player who backs their mates and pulls their weight.
- Safety-focused, always ticking the boxes and doing things by the book.
- Ready to work a 7:7 roster with 12-hour day and night shifts.
