At Mungari, now with a mine life through to 2038, our people have a longer future with opportunities to grow. With underground and open pit mining, and an expansion of the processing plant underway, the operational diversity and unique work experience is great for building and uplifting careers. Located in the Western Australia Goldfields, you can choose what suits your priorities. Work an attractive fly-in/fly out (FIFO) roster from Perth or live local and enjoy our close-knit communities and local lifestyles.

This roster will be 7:7 and a 12 hour day.
About the role
The primary purpose of the Charge Up Operator is for safe preparation and set up of charges in ore stopes / development headings as required
- Fulfil the Shotfirer and Dangerous Goods and Explosives handling statutory obligations
- Fulfil Magazine Controlling obligations
- Ensure re-entries are done as per procedures
- Hole casing as required
- Complying with and undertaking additional / alternative responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the Supervisor
Personnel will be required to work in all sections of the mine, & at all times work in a safe manner, with a high standard of workmanship.
About you
- It is important that you have previous Charge Up experience, currently hold a Valid shot firing certification & Dangerous Good Security Card and have the following attributes;
- Dedicated to contributing towards quality work outcomes
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Commitment to promoting a safe work environment at all times
- Ability to work a 7:7 roster (12 hour- days and nights)
- Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
