About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Reservations Sales Agent to join our in-house team at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley. As a Reservations Sales Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing reservations to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

1. Respond promptly and courteously to all guest inquiries and reservation requests via phone, email, and online channels
2. Efficiently process guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records
4. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a consistent and positive guest experience
5. Provide recommendations on room types, resort amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience
6. Contribute to the achievement of revenue and occupancy targets

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in a customer service or reservations role within the hospitality and tourism industry
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a warm and friendly service
3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle guest inquiries and requests
4. Proficient in using reservation systems and technology
5. Adaptable and flexible to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
