We have been exclusively retained to identify an Application and Integration Lead for a forward-thinking organisation in Adelaide. This is a short-term contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position. The role is responsible for supporting, maintaining and optimising business applications across the organisation, ensuring they are leveraged to their full potential while maintaining compliance and security standards.

Key responsibilities:

- Identify opportunities to maximise use of existing business applications in line with organisational goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement enhancements
- Manage small-scale application projects from planning through to delivery
- Provide level two support and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and system updates
- Develop and deliver training sessions and create clear documentation for users
- Configure, maintain and upgrade application systems, ensuring accurate records are kept
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements
- Manage software licensing, patching schedules and compliance with Essential Eight
- Administer user access and participate in testing, deployment and change management processes

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- Proven experience configuring and integrating enterprise applications
- Track record managing the lifecycle of business-critical applications
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives
- Ability to create training materials and deliver sessions to varied audiences
- Strong documentation skills for procedures, guides and configuration records
- Experience with software updates, patching and compliance frameworks such as Essential Eight
- Project delivery skills using structured methodologies
- Testing and deployment experience with adherence to change management processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
