Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care, supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years, we have been helping older people and people living with disability stay connected to their local community. Our friendly, compassionate and experienced team makes this possible.

We are hiring Personal Care Workers and Domestic Assistance Workers (cleaning).

Duties and responsibilities

- Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
- Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
- Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About you

- Good interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication
- Ability to build rapport and good working relationships
- Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters and recording notes/feedback

What you will need (mandatory)

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian Drivers License
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
- Smart phone with internet access

Preferred

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services
