Overview

We are seeking a Specialist Consultant Psychiatrist - C/A for a Central North QLD hospital. This is a permanent full-time role providing clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, investigation and management of patients over the age of 18 with complex mental health problems. This is a great QLD location and a popular tourist destination. This hospital has 305 beds and is the main referral hospital in Central Queensland, serving a population of over 250,000. The region's climate supports an outdoor lifestyle with an average of over 300 days of sunshine each year.

Additionally, child-care centres, schools and housing options in the area support a relaxed, outdoor lifestyle with a range of real estate available.

Benefits and remuneration

Total package value up to $446,028 p.a., comprising salary between $214,897 - $227,843 p.a. (L25 – L27); or remuneration value up to $408,051 p.a., comprising salary between $179,703 - $208,735 p.a. (L18 – L24).
