Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Salary: Not disclosed
Description
WHO WE ARE
Equiem is a global SaaS Proptech company revolutionising the real estate industry. We empower property professionals with innovative solutions that streamline their workflows, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth. Our technology has transformed how landlords digitise their buildings, making them exciting, productive, and vibrant workplaces.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. Given our global growth, this is the right time to join us and be part of something great
Based in Melbourne, AUST., you will lead the DevOps team in creating, maintaining, and scaling Equiem’s AWS infrastructure and drive collaboration with our product development teams. Your leadership will focus on improving our automated processes and fostering a team collaboration culture.
This team's primary objective is twofold: first, to ensure a highly available and resilient Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting infrastructure, and second, to develop platform code that automates infrastructure and builds solutions for the product development team.
This is a global role that requires working across different time zones. Flexibility is essential as you navigate Australian, European, and US time zones, occasionally requiring early morning and late-night meetings. While adjusting to different time zones might be necessary, we're dedicated to creating an environment where your commitment is cherished and your well-being matters.
You will be required to complete an Australian Criminal History Check, which we’ll take care of.
Where You’ll Spend Your Time:
- Ensuring the security, availability, and resilience of our AWS hosting infrastructure.
- Automating infrastructure (IaC) and optimising CI/CD pipeline to help our development teams move quickly.
- Coaching and mentoring other members of the development team on cloud best practices, emerging frameworks, services, and trends.
- Partnering with our development team to build a great product.
Your New Team
- It is highly collaborative and agile.
- Uses a modern technology stack, architecture, and practices.
- Has a flexible working culture - remote/office mix that will not change.
- Encourages and cultivates a culture of agility, autonomy, and transparency by implementing agile and lean best practices.
