Lead DevOps Engineer – TSPV Cleared (Permanent Opportunity)

Location: Melbourne (preferred) or Canberra

Join a small, tight-knit DevOps team where your leadership and technical expertise will shape secure and scalable development environments. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work across a diverse technology stack to streamline delivery pipelines, enhance platform reliability, and drive automation. Flexibility, collaboration, and technical depth are key to success in this high-impact opportunity.

Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a high-performing DevOps/Kubernetes team.
- Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Implement DevSecOps practices to ensure secure and compliant software delivery.
- Drive platform modernization, infrastructure reliability, and migration projects.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with Kubernetes (Rancher/RKE2), Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong skills in AWS and hybrid on-prem environments.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across technical functions.

Security Clearance and eligibility

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role. This position is open to Australian citizens with a valid security clearance due to role requirements.
