As one of the largest open range safari experiences in the world, spanning more than 1,500 hectares of fauna and flora, Monarto Safari Park is the largest safari park that will exist outside of Africa. Complete with a first-of-its-kind luxury resort, luxury tents and lodge facilities, from May 2025 Monarto Safari Park will offer longer visits and a range of new and wild safari experiences in an area known as Wild Africa including incredible tours through herds of roaming animals, adding to the existing huge walk-through lemur habitat and the arrival during 2025 of 5 Asian Elephants within the current Zoo Loop experience

About the Role

With the future opening of the Monarto Safari Resort luxury tents and lodge facilities, we will be expanding our team of Tour Host Drivers to provide Wild Africa safari experiences. We are currently looking for experienced Tour Host/Drivers who will lead the way on delivering unforgettable experiences in interpretive guided safari tours, driver guiding tours, hosting behind the scenes experiences and bush walks. The position is offered in a casual capacity with the opportunity for additional hours at peak periods.

As part of our Visitor Experience team, you will:

- Provide guided tours whilst safely driving our buses both on and off site.
- Engage storytelling through the delivery of interpretive guided tours and experiences.
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Deliver a quality visitor experience
- Undertake basic cleaning and maintenance checks on buses and Visitor Experience vehicles.

About You

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following selection criteria:

- Driver accreditation for large and small passenger vehicles (essential)
- MR (essential) or HR (desired) manual bus licence
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Experience in tour guiding or customer facing roles
- Experience in driving large buses
- Excellent customer service, communication, presentation and storytelling skills
- First Aid certificate (desirable)
- Certificate III in Tourism/Tour Guiding desirable
