Summary: The Western Australia Police Force is seeking a highly skilled individual to provide support and advice to the Prosecution Services Division in relation to business analysis, performance monitoring and reporting. The successful candidate will be committed to continuous improvement and delivering meaningful change, delivering outstanding service to stakeholders including police officers, prosecutors and justice sector partners, with a values-based and professional approach.

Position Objective

This position supports the strategic direction of the agency by providing analytical support and advice to the Prosecution Services Division in relation to performance reporting. It involves understanding business requirements, analysing the impacts of business change, and supporting the development and improvement of business processes.

Applicants are asked to address the nominated work-related requirements in no more than two pages:

- Analysis and business management skills - Applying techniques, processes and methodologies to analyse trends, issues and opportunities. Performing business process mapping, business requirements identification, options evaluation. Undertaking analysis to support the effective and optimal use of resources including financial, human and physical assets.
- Conceptual skills - Understanding concepts and ideas, systems, data and interrelationships. Analysing and considering options, impacts, solutions and consequences. Making recommendations.

The CV should provide enough detail (dot points are sufficient) to allow the selection panel to assess your skills, experience and qualifications relevant to the Essential Work Related Requirements in the attached Position Description Form, and must include the names and contact details of two referees.

Other Conditions & Requirements

Integrity and criminal checks will be conducted if the successful applicant is not a current WA Police Force employee. Relocation costs may be the responsibility of the successful applicant. A twelve-month validity period applies for the selection process to fill other similar vacancies and for options if the successful applicant declines or vacates the position.
