Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer / Senior Technical Officer to join our team. Our exciting position will offer you flexible working arrangements, growth and the opportunity to manage the lifecycle of projects.

About the role

- Delivering high-quality engineering designs in Overhead lines, Underground lines and Distribution Substation Projects
- Design & draft Transmission and Underground lines for major projects
- Attend site when required
- Take part in reviewing project scope and make recommendations to improve project constructability costs
- Apply industry standards & Safety in Design guidelines
- Deliver effective design management on projects of various complexity to meet delivery timeframes, quality and cost
- Identify innovative solutions to enhance team efficiency

To succeed you’ll need

- Demonstrated experience in Distribution & Transmission Design projects
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of Safety in Design practices
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
- RPEV accreditation advantages
- Proficient AutoCAD drafting
- Experience using Revit and NEARA would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
