The Responsibilities of This Role Include:

- Managing buy side and sell side due diligence transactions from data book construction through to data room management through to transaction closure

- Managing the origination and execution of M&A transactions

- Assisting in transaction negotiations and legal documentation

- Providing independent advice to your clients

- Leading project teams and managing the local team

- Managing and developing junior team members in financial analysis, transaction scenarios and research

- Building relationships with clients and other stakeholders, including Legal, Accountants, Private Equity, Funds and Investment Bankers

- Identifying new value-adding transaction opportunities for your clients.

Qualifications

- 5-10 years of experience gained in Investment Banking/Corporate Finance/M&A/Corporate Advisory or similar

- Experience across all aspects of a transaction/investment process.

- Proven deal origination and post deal management including drafting the initial pitch and evaluation of proposals.

- Excellent financial modelling skills e.g. Modano

- A high level of accuracy when completing work

- An inquisitive mind and real commercial acumen

- An ability to express complex issues in a simple, logical manner

- A bright, and energetic personality and possess the ability to use initiative

- The ability to identify and develop new transaction opportunities

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present clearly in presentations or pitches including senior level stakeholders
