About the Roles

gforce is currently seeking Arborists to assist with the maintenance of trees and other woody plants, with numerous long-term and short-term positions available, with a local government organisation in Ballarat.

What's in it for you?

- $43-44ph
- Full-time hours Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm
- A 12-month temporary position with potential for ongoing work

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Trimming branches and pruning trees
- Repair, cable, fertilize and water trees
- Removing dead or unwanted trees
- Identifying and treating diseased trees
- Chainsaw/power tools operation

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Chainsaw ticket and experience essential
- EWP licence an advantage
- Arborist or horticulture qualifications an advantage
- Current drivers' licence essential
- MR truck licence an advantage
- Physically fit for labouring duties
- Able to work in a team and follow instructions
- Safety conscious
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug screen and police check
- Have PPE including steel cap boots, hi viz long-sleeved shirt and chainsaw climbing pants
