About the Role
Volunteers
Location: IRT Shoalhaven Aged Care Centres and Retirement Villages
Make a positive difference to our residents’ lives by helping support their health and wellbeing as a Volunteer. IRT volunteer program allows for more flexibility and informal interactions, personalised activities and strengthens our ability to respond to individual preferences.
We’re looking for people that are warm, caring, compassionate and are team players who would like to volunteer in the below Care Centres and Retirement Villages:
- IRT Greenwell Gardens (Nowra)
- IRT Culburra
- IRT St Georges Basin
- IRT Sarah Claydon Village (Milton)
We have many exciting volunteer opportunities to choose from including:

- Community Access support
To Be Successful You Will Have
We’re looking for volunteers who are warm and caring, compassionate and are a team player, have good communication and interpersonal skills. Volunteers will need to undergo a National Criminal History Check, and attend volunteer training sessions and inductions.

To ensure all volunteers feel supported, IRT volunteers have access to free and confidential EAP services providing support on a range of personal and volunteer related issues.
