As AtkinsRéalis Australia embarks on expansion into the Defence industry, nuclear safety case advisory will be an integral part of enabling a Defence business in Australia. Supported by a mature global team, the successful candidate will benefit from guidance and experience of technical leads from other parts of the global business to grow the Australian business.The Nuclear Safety Case Roles (Multiple) will also be responsible for connecting with global technical teams to deliver local nuclear safety case programmes.**Key Responsibilities:*** Develop global relationships with AtkinsRéalis technical teams to deliver global experience locally* Collaborate with diverse customers and stakeholders to deliver nuclear safety case programmes* Contribute to the development of complex project proposals and participate in the process of securing new business opportunities or expanding the scope of existing projects* Lead and provide support for nuclear safety case programmes for defence platforms and infrastructure, inline with stakeholder requirements and timeframes* Support and conduct safety and hazard assessments on maritime / defence / platform systems* Identify and mitigate technical and project risks associated to a nuclear safety case programme**Desired Skills, Experience and Capabilities*** Experience working in the nuclear industry* Experience with naval infrastructure and/or naval reactors* Experience with Defence infrastructure* Tertiary engineering qualification* Hold or eligible to obtain Australian Government security clearance* A good understanding of the Australian government defence ecosystem* An excellent communicator, verbal (active listener) and written (able to write concisely).**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION****As we grow our Defence team, AtkinsRéalis encourages veterans and ex-Defence personnel to apply, as you bring unique and invaluable skills and experience to our team** **We're not all the same and that's our greatest strength and we believe that 'Different Makes a Difference.'** Join us and become part of a diverse community from various cultures and abilities.
